Requirement for the foreign physicians who would like to do the medical resident in Hannover - Medical school - Annastift:

• Scholarship
• The education has to be financed by scholarship. A remuneration on the part of the orthopeadic clinic is not possible. Room and board must be financed by the resident.
• An adequate knowledge of spoken and written german language is desired (German level A2 or B1 according to the Goethe Institute)

Important Information:

The financing has to be made by a scholarship and not from own resources, because otherwise the board certification won’t accepted.

Requirements for the foreign physicians who would like to acquire a job specialization, for example Arthroscopy:

• Residence: approximately ½ years till maximum 1 year.
• A scholarship is not compulsive, a self financing is possible.
• Room and board have to be taken over itself as well.
• A working knowledge in german language should exist
(German level A2 or B1).
